The Business Informatics Group is delighted to welcome Prof. Arnon Sturm from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev as a Guest Professor at TU Wien Informatics from October 2026 to September 2027. Arnon Sturm is a Full Professor in the Department of Software and Information Systems Engineering and Programme Head at the Stein Faculty of Computer and Information Science, Ben-Gurion University. His research focuses on domain engineering, modeling languages, requirements engineering, and empirical software engineering, with recent work exploring the intersection of AI and conceptual modeling.

Course: Research in Requirements Engineering (199.038)

As part of his guest professorship, Arnon Sturm will teach the course "Research in Requirements Engineering" (199.038, VU, 2.0h, 3.0 ECTS) at TU Wien Informatics Doctoral School. The course introduces requirements engineering research approaches—including in the era of GenAI—and guides participants in critiquing RE research and writing their own scientific contributions. It is targeted at Doctoral Students of the Faculty of Informatics and, subject to availability, open to other interested PhD and Master students.
